Biography
In November 2022, Ryan Braunberger was elected to the North Dakota State Senate, becoming the first Senator for the newly formed District 10 in Fargo. Braunberger is one of only four Democratic Senators in the 47 districts across the state. During his first term, he was a critical member of the Judiciary Committee and the State and Local Government Committee. His work on these committees made a lasting impact on the legislation and policies affecting North Dakota. Braunberger is passionate about representing his constituents, and his commitment to principles of fairness and justice has earned him high praise from the citizens of North Dakota. He continues to stand as a champion for progressive values and promotes the well-being of these citizens. As a freshman Senator, he is also the Democratic-NPL Caucus Chair. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a bachelor’s degree in social work. In addition, he has an Associate of Applied Sciences in Business Administration from Southeast Technical Institute. Ryan is also a member of the National Association of Social Work.
